About Me

My name is Sue Holloway, and I am a qualified and practising animal behaviourist specialising in canine and equine behaviour.

I have always had animals in my life, with a childhood surrounded by ponies, dogs, cats, chickens and guineapigs. I trained as a Farm Manager originally, wanting to give animals the best life possible before they entered our food chain, and animal welfare has always been at the forefront as I ventured into a career of livestock farming, both in the UK and abroad.

Through a long career working alongside animals, I understand the importance of awareness in the way that an animal behaves, expressing how they feel and have always been fascinated with exploring what they are telling us, reacting to this in order to adapt their environment and management to create harmony for that animal. Over the past twenty years I have had the privilege of working with dogs and horses doing just this, continuously learning and helping owners and their animals live their best lives.

The science behind animal behaviour is what really cements the way in which I shape my behaviour modifications. I regularly undertake Continued Professional Development (CDP) courses to ensure I am using the most up-to-date science-based behavioural training. There is always something new to learn.

I present myself as a Behavioural Coach, working with you and your family to find the best solution that works for you and your pet.

I do not believe in the use of aversive methods and concentrate on proven holistic and considerate methods supported by scientific research.
